Sarah lives in Ellicott City, MD, an in-between suburb from both Baltimore and Washington, D.C. She is married to her husband and best friend, Won, and they have three adult daughters. Sarah received her pharmacy degree (B.S.) from University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB) and had been a community pharmacist for 30 years when God opened up opportunities for her to pursue a Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) at Westminster Theological Seminary (WTS).
Sarah has lived in South Korea and Suriname before immigrating to the US at the age of 12. She is excited every time she meets someone new and hears their stories. As an immigrant, daughter, wife, and mother, Sarah resonates with many of the cultural, racial, and social influences in people’s lives today. It is her hope and privilege to walk alongside folks through the joys and griefs of life, where Christ is the ultimate advocate and comforter.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, baking, watching k-dramas, and any new hobby she’s recently picked up. As her motto goes, “how hard can it be?”
