Coming back home to South Carolina never seemed like an option when the Lord moved my family to Florida back in the mid-70s. I ended up attending the University of Central Florida and graduated after squeezing 4 years into 6. However, the Lord has always had His plan for my life, and He opened my heart to the gospel shortly after I married my wife. His next move was to have me discipled and to move me into ordained pastoral ministry. Over the past 28 years I have pastored churches in Metro Washington, D.C., serving in a variety of roles. These roles have included student ministry, small group ministries, care and recovery ministries, lead preaching pastor & more.
Now back in Greenville, SC, with my wife Yvette and three college and high school aged children, I oversee Care & Recovery at Grace Church’s Pelham Road Campus. I am excited to be a biblical counselor at Heart Song and for God to use me to minister the gospel to the people I meet with in-person and virtually. Besides serving the Lord through counseling, you will be able to find me at my son’s swim meets, working on some never-ending yard project, or spending time with my family.
